this is how I got to be on probation and parole at the same time... I got out in good time parole subervision around 12/11/93 .... I immediately got me a job offshore so that put me in good with my parole officer ms. cathy v. henry in b.r.... she was big ole black lady with a mustache and she loved me for some reason, i think she wanted some white boy little dick or something... you had to be there... i was on 2.5 years good time parole supervised release for a distribution charge but never once took a drug test... she gave me a blanket travel pass good for the entire state,, she told me she was quite impressed with me and only made a house visit one time about 2 weeks after i got out... about six months out around june 1994 I fucked around and got arrested for d.w.i. in livingston parish (back then you could buy beer 24/7 waaay out in watson down hwy 16, lots of kids from b.r. used to make the run to "THE PETRO" around 2:42 a.m.)... I immeidately bonded out before they put a detainer on me for D.O.C. (it doesnt work anymore)... I went ahead about 2 days later and surrendered myself to her at the parole office and told her what happened... She told me that I fucked up being out of the parish and getting a new charge but appreciated my honesty and whatnot... according to la revised statutes there is a number of things they can do ranging from revoking parole and doing the remainder of your full term all the way down to verbal reprimand.... she gave me a reprimand and told me to go home and get some rest.... when i went to court in denham springs city court for the charge, i copped out(plead guilty) and took their denham city probation, they sent me for substance abuse evaluation and I told the guy he cannot make me go to AA because its unconstitutional as it's a religious based program (chapter for the agnostic in the big blue book regardless), paid the fine, went to the d.w.i. school and instead of community service I opted for 17 days in livingston jail on trusty in the kitchen , so I got convicted, put on probation and served jail time all while being on parole and never got violated.... full termed around 6/1/96 and never looked back... got a felony in 2008 and did flat time.... CRIME DONT PAY KIDS! every conviction I ever got was DIRECTLY related to the ridiculous "WAR ON DRUGS" ROB B.R> 2011
